JOB DESCRIPTION
SENIOR PATTERN TECHNOLOGIST (BIYAGAMA)
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Attend Tech pack meeting and Sewing meeting (Optional)
- Ensure patterns are created in alignment with the design intent and according to the pattern creation process upon receipt of the Tech pack.
- Timely communication with the stakeholders for technical clarification if required
- Verify accuracy of patterns against samples whilst, identifying and addressing all technical issues
- Make sure customer comments are accurately incorporated at each cycle to achieve the expected fit requirements.
- Ensure patterns are graded accurately according to the customer specifications
- Ensure all samples meet the given specifications and standards prior to fitting and dispatching them to the Customer along with the relevant documents.
- Participate for the fit sessions and adhere to the fit protocols
- Facilitate costing, Sampling and ordering processes by providing accurate patterns and other relevant document in a timely manner.
- Coordinate all activities pertaining to the preparation of tech packs by liaising with relevant teams; on time and accurate document submission to the production
- Adhere to critical path at each gate during product development process
- Facilitate on the job training for subordinate pattern techs
- Initiate Pre Production Activity process with plants and relevant stakeholders
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Diploma in Textile & Clothing
- B.Sc Engineering Textile & Clothing degree will be an added advantage
- 05 years of experience in the similar capacity
