Senior Executive – Technical – Operation (MAS Active – Contourline)
We are in the lookout for a dynamic individual to join MAS Active – Contourline as a Senior Executive – Technical – Operation (Senior Executive job role). This role requires you to provide technical advice/ guidance to the Method Study and QCO teams in order to develop the most effective sewing methods whilst, ensuring quality requirements are met thereby, facilitating the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate at the sampling stage for new styles by performing the following activities in order to ensure all samples meet customer specifications.
- Analyze samples, identify style specifications/ quality points/ measurements with the Tech pack and develop effective sewing methods together with the team facilitating a smooth production flow whilst also, transferring knowledge to the IE team in order to prepare Standard Work Sheets for new operations.
- Prepare the “Test Cut Feedback” (Size sets) in order to proceed with bulk production.
- Participate and drive internal pre-production meetings for the team, explaining relevant information such as critical points, tech pack details, trim card etc. with relevant personnel prior to the commencement of bulk production.
- Complete the activities in an effective manner thereby, supporting an efficient style change over process.
- Ensure the required output is achieved within the stipulated time frame as per the accepted standards, specially without any technical issues whilst, discussing with the relevant persons concerned to ensure maximum production output.
- Analyse/ address issues such as over consumption of trims and carry out root cause analysis whilst, ensuring the effective resolution of same thereby facilitating a smooth production process.
- Coordinate with the team whilst, directing and guiding them to resolve issues which may arise in areas such as Technical/ Cutting/ Patterns/ Consumption ensuring uninterrupted operations.
- Ensure durability of heat sealing and bonding processes by sending the relevant garments for wash tests from all pilot color ways in a timely manner, get suitable conditions for heat sealing and bonding from PDC whilst, informing them if any changes need to be done to the given conditions in order to ensure durability.
- Conduct heat seal training and check on the knowledge of relevant members in order to provide heat seal licenses to all heat seal operators.
- Visit plants, study their processes, make a note of good initiatives/ best practices and implement same thereby, ensuring an efficient and effective operations process whilst also, taking measures to maintain such initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to organizational standards such as SOPs, compliance standards, health and safety and 5S whilst, leading MOS initiatives within the team.
