Key Accountabilities
- Prepare & monitor the budget for all spare parts and new machinery on an annual basis and forecast the requirements for the plant for the following budget year.
- Coordinate with the work-study team, obtain details on future machine/ attachment requirements, machine settings and ensure timely provision to facilitate the smooth flow of operations.
- Give recommendations to management to facilitate timely purchase of required equipment.
- Oversee the repairs and maintenance of machinery in the sewing sections in order to ensure expected maintenance levels are maintained to support a smooth production operation.
- Check the daily status of the all the variables identified by the plant such as accidents, near misses, pre-setting errors, oil mark percentage, slip stitches & Kaizen points.
Knowledge and Skills
- Degree in relevant field
- 2 -3 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Knowledge in Health Safety Sustainability & Compliance, manufacturing process
- Communication skills
- Analytical skills
