Senior Executive – Digital – Group sourcing and supply chain

Embark on a journey of change with MAS, by joining the MAS Capital team as a Senior Executive – Digital – Group sourcing and supply chain. As a member of Group Sourcing & Supply Chain Team, following role will support the execution of the implementation of MAS supply chain digital systems transformation roadmap to embed MAS Brilliant Basics strategy. 

The purpose of this role is to support all pillars of Sourcing and Supply Chain (Data, Strategy & Development and Procurement) and business teams for cohesiveness, operationalize end-to-end implement of transformation efforts with effective and relevant digital tools and techniques to help them manage their operational daily job to strategic level decision making process more effective and optimize manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to execute the implementation of a supply chain and group sourcing digitalization roadmap.
  • Assist on preparation business scope proposal and conduct operational level studies to identify current process design opportunities, develop gap analyses for missed opportunities, and bring the best-in-class future design of the process and an integrated system using the results of the engagement with external consultancy firms, external experts, or directly with process owners.
  • Assist the development and implementation of identified high complex (long term) and medium complex (short term) business proposals by connecting with SBU, external experts, and the technology eco-system.
  1. Assist to setting up and ensuring project plans, resource planning, and budget are maintained as agreed
  2. Coordinate with developers and the group technology services team to align on the prioritization and sequencing of the relevant deliverables of the digital roadmap will ensure on-time completion of platforms and technologies
  3. Setting up and ensuring SLAs are maintained as agreed
  4. Coordinate to ensure a smooth onboarding process with the necessary customizations to meet internal customer
  • Owns the up-to-date documentation with related to above work actions 
  • Working with relevant stakeholders (Division and Enterprise), the group technology services team, and external technology eco-system partners to ensure on-time completion of agreed milestones
  • Assist the effort on the development of required technology infrastructure by realizing the technology blueprint by connecting with SBU, external experts, the group technology services team, and the external technology eco system.
  • Adopt a systematic format and schedule on tracking and provide necessary input to the relevant reports for management and stakeholders on resource utilization, financial budgeting, and impact studies for the implementation of the digital roadmap.
  • Adopt a systematic format and schedules Identifying potential issues that may arise during the implementation process, escalations (raise early red flags when anything is heading in the wrong direction and reset expectations) 
  • Owning the follow up process to ensure that projects are completed in a way that complies with and/or exceeds all applicable standards and guidelines 
  • Assist work on the adoption of digital solutions across the group to ensure business units within MAS have the right training, knowledge, and tools to capture, visualize, and make operational decisions.
  • Assist to carrying out data analytics work studies related to digital adoption initiatives 

Qualifications, Experience, Skill and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree Degree/ MBA in Business IT /Computer Science/Statistics/ Decisions Science/ Analytics /Business Management related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • 3-4 years’ experience in working in the field of digitalization experience, Process transformation or 
  • Project Management experience and proven track record on delivering complex projects
  • within MAS/Outside MAS
  • Excellent skills in communication (verbal & written)
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to drive meaningful actions from data, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Enterprise level change agent who engages with across the organization stakeholders to deliver the digital program to the organization would be an added advantage
  • Understand new technology developments and challenges in the digital space.
  • Ability to convince others and perform within complex business/project teams. 
  • Highly organized, with detail orientation
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership and accountability of work
  • Statistical analysis and exceptional Excel skills
