Merchandiser – Bulk

Embark on a journey of change with MAS, by joining the MAS Intimates – Ratmalana Team as Bulk Merchandiser Support the merchandising and supply chain process to ensure production process occurs as per agreed timelines, by negotiating, coordinating with internal / external stakeholders and final buyer to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and garments

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow up and ensure timely completion of all key activities predetermine in the customer calendar and prepare detailed plans in regard to the subsequent activities with internal teams to fulfil the customer expectation by the required delivery date
• Execute and ensure completion of critical path activities and ensure all system related tasks such as creating and raising booking forms is completed in a timely and accurate manner whilst maintaining superior levels of communication with the customer by providing updates in regard to order/liability
• confirmation to ensure achievement of set targets
• Ensure availability of adequate raw material stock, manage inventory, provide accurate, timely & complete data on procurement and follow up on all payments to suppliers
• Establish strong relationships with suppliers whilst demonstrating ability to effectively negotiate the best price to ensure procurement of raw material is delivered to the required quality and quantity, at the most competitive terms in a timely manner
• Diligently follow up and ensure timely and accurate raw material availability by administrating and executing the below related activities to meet production plans and customer expectations within the stipulated timeframe:

1. BOM Creation
2. PO Creation/ Portal release
3. PI Confirmation (Performa Invoice)/ Portal Acceptance
4. Follow bulk colour approvalsin order to ensure RM is available on time to start production (bulk submission- shipment samples)
5. Coordinate and confirm Raw Material Inhouse dates with suppliers and Production Planningteams to ensureall parties are aware of any changes/ details
6. Bringing in Bulk Materialsfor Red Tag/bulk Purple Seal Sampling
7. Work in collaboration with cross functional team and external partiesto bring Raw Material for factory integration on time
8. Follow up / escalate any issues related to supply with the production facilities and liaise respective teams to address issues promptly in order to achieve on time delivery & order fulfilment as planned
9. Report creation and weekly order tracking and follow up on production status. Eg: Sales forecasting- monthly reports, sales variance reports, OTD and PSR/OTR(customer)

• Ensure smooth order management function by implementing an accurate and detailed time & action plan for all related activities and regularly updating/ sharing relevant information with respective stakeholders
• Address all production related issues, by coordinating with the right technical personnel in a timely manner to minimize the loss
• Consolidate and manage raw material arrivals in line with planned requirements / manage and analyses stock levels (Dummy and Liability stock) to meet factory service requirements with the proper maintenance and monitoring of write-offs and liabilities across the account
• Attend to the shipping arrangements and all related documentation to ensure timely delivery
• Work in collaboration with the team to identify and delivery on set project initiatives in order to drive continuous performance agility and excellence among the unit and organisation as a whole

Qualifications, Experience, Skill and Competencies:

• 1 – 2 years of relevant work experience
• MBA/ Degree/ Management qualification in a relevant field Professional – Fully Qualifie
