SENIOR EXECUTIVE – ENVIORENMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

Join MAS and embrace the opportunity to shape the future with MAS Capital Private Limited – Intimates based at Ratmalana, we are in pursuit of a skilled individual to work in collaboration with the team to support the execution of environmental sustainability related initiatives across all internal SBU’s within the division whilst diligently following through on the timely delivery, implementation and roll out of set standards to ensure the organization remains environmentally responsible whilst, achieving its business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage relevant stakeholders in consultation with management to identify, implement and monitor agreed upon environmental initiatives/activities in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Operationally handle and support the team with strategic sustainable projects that elevate the existing ES workstreams (emissions, water, waste etc.) such as biomass conversion/ solar power conversion, waste recycling.
  • Support leads in assessing effective performance of same, whilst being quality conscious, thereby delivering effective end results that would maximize organizational image as well as its profitability.
  • Together with the leads/management visit internal SBU’s and identify sustainability projects within the scope of Water Management, Biodiversity, Waste Management and Culture that need to be implemented.
  • Support in gathering data by collecting the Plant Environmental Sustainability KPI documents monthly whilst working in collaboration with senior leads in the team.
  • Support the work carried out by each work stream and management of the long-term initiatives liaise with legal authorities such as BOI, Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA), Central Environmental Authority (CEA), Forest Department, Department of Wildlife and Conservation etc. with regard to sustainability initiative approvals and reports pertaining to performances and indices on same.
  • Ensure all SBUs are in alignment with and are ready for the following assessments whilst, taking necessary initiatives to ensure the SBUs achieve the required standards in relation to same.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational standards in areas such as MOS, SOPs, compliance standards, health and safety including safe machine process and 5S in all day today activities whilst, assisting in relevant projects.
  • Ensure compliance with the defined governance framework including upholding the MAS DNA, following, group/company polices & procedures*, best practices (where the group/company policies and procedures are not defined), relevant laws & regulations and undertake every necessary action to comply with the governance framework.
