MANAGER – SOURCING & SUPPLY CHAIN
We are looking for a dynamic and energetic individual to join as a Manager – Sourcing & Supply Chain (Manager Work Level). This role requires you to be accountable for a seamless global supply chain through the effective use of systems, processes and organisation to enable the transformation towards a lean supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the Central Supplier Engagement Team (CSET) to drive and improve suppliers to on-time delivery and quantity of RM.
- Oversee the implementation of Supplier Portals so the supplier performance can be tracked/measured and data information exchange is seamless and integrated.
- Oversee the consistency of appropriate training to create a pool of trained personnel.
- Resolution of conflicts (Strategically important and disputes which require a global intervention) in a timely and appropriate manner to ensure the minimum interruptions to RM sourcing.
- Manage price and contract negotiations with relevant persons to achieve optimum pricing and efficiency throughout the supply chain.
- Carry out periodical Supply Chain reviews, review RM stock and implement MOS concepts to improve supply chain performance on delivery quality and company working capital.
- Provide downstream partners with a supplier forecast where applicable to Improve forecast accuracy to the supplier.
Qualifications:
- Masters/ Postgraduate Diploma In any relevant discipline
- 7 – 8 years of relevant work experience
