Manager – Quality Assurance (Asialine, Embilipitiya)

To manage the quality assurance function and ensure implementation of quality assurance and control systems/ processes within the value stream to meet product/ process quality requirements 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Monitor the progress of quality related meetings and follow up on the identified quality assurance activities to ensure timely operations 
  • Direct the team to adhere to critical quality points to ensure adherence to quality standards and thereby satisfying the customer 
  • Guide the teams at the pre-production meetings and pilot runs as and when required in order to ensure customer quality requirements are met 
  • Monitor the conduct of all audits to ensure products/ process are in compliance with customer requirements 
  • Manage upgrade technical knowledge/ quality awareness of all relevant personnel to achieve desired quality objectives thereby, facilitating production operations 
  • Recommend training & development opportunities to employees in order to enhance the knowledge and skills of members 
  • Lead MOS initiatives while ensuring adherence to organizational standards such as: SOPs, compliance standards, health and safety and 6S to maintain a healthy working environment 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Postgraduate Degree in any relevant discipline  

4-5 years of relevant work experience
