INTERN – PATTERN TECHNOLOGIST
(BASED AT Hanwella)
As an intern – pattern Technologist you are assigned to support by interpreting the given set of customer designs and assisting in pattern constructing to facilitate the sample development process thereby meet customer requirements & provide correct pattern/information to production in line with development and production calendar.
Key Responsibilities
- Closely involve to ensure the patterns are created in alignment with different requirement of the pattern creation process on receipt of the “Design Sketch”
- Ensure the accuracy of patterns against sample whilst, identifying and addressing all technical issues.
- Support to ensure all garments are as per the given specifications and standards prior to dispatching them from production.
- Support to coordinate all activities pertaining to the preparation of tech pack by liasing with relevant teams as required.
- Assist the verification process of graded patterns by providing guidelines and facilitating the preparation of costing.
- ·Perform additional duties which are assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
- ·Diploma/ Degree in Textile & Apparel Management & Technology,or any other relevant field.
- ·Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Interest in growing up for a career in apparel.
- Previous knowledge in fabric behavior would be added advantage.
- Good communication skill with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
