Executive – Sustainability – Operations (Based at Shadeline)

Embark on a journey of change with MAS, by joining the Kreeda team as a Executive – Sustainability – Operations! This role would enable you to support and take responsibility for ensuring sustainability strategy and initiatives, specifically in terms data analytics, communication, culture, engagement and special projects that are applicable for the SBU are effectively implemented and rolled out thereby, ensuring the organization remains environmentally responsible whilst, achieving its business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify the stakeholders, needs and opportunities for enhancing sustainability awareness within and outside the SBU by Develop an action plan for sustainability related communication for the SBU focusing on internal (including all employee categories) and external stakeholders.
  • Effectively implement the developed action plan for sustainability communication focusing on internal (including all employee categories) and external stakeholders whilst ensure continuous communication across all stakeholder groups through creative, innovative and effective means and obtain frequent feedback and continuously improve the communication process to ensure expected sustainability standards.
  • Identify the stakeholders, needs and opportunities for enhancing a culture of sustainability consciousness within and outside the SBU.
  • Develop a strategic plan for sustainability culture and engagement initiatives for the SBU focusing on internal (including all employee categories) and external stakeholders.
  • Effectively implement the developed strategic plan for sustainability communication focusing on internal (including all employee categories) and external stakeholders using various means of culture development and engagement initiatives. 
  • Ensure key events such as Environment Day, Earth hour, Water Day, OSH Week are celebrated across SBU annually.
  • Ensure long term and continuous engagement across all stakeholder groups through creative, innovative and effective means and obtain frequent feedback and continuously improve culture and engagement activities and determine the scope of the work within each SBU.
  • Identify the current status and the gaps in meeting the set goals/ objectives in each SBU and take the lead in obtaining necessary approvals and carrying out required communication internally and externally.
  • Work together with the plant teams by setting direction and providing support from the divisional end and monitor and review the progress and provide necessary feedback.
  • Develop, maintain and continuously improve mechanisms for detailed and meaningful analysis of sustainability data to facilitate real-time tracking of sustainability performance and sustainable business-related decision making both at divisional level and plant level.
  • Develop, maintain and continuously improve visualization of data analytics in a comprehensive and meaningful manner using excel/ Power BI/etc. to facilitate real-time performance tracking, problem solving and continuous improvement both at divisional and plant level.   
  • Take the initiative in real- time problem solving related to sustainability performance based on the data analytics working together with the plant teams.
  • Involve in the strategy setting and development processes associated with sustainability for the SBU and actively support and participate in all sustainability related events, activities organized by and team, division, SBUs and MAS Group.
  • Actively contribute and support to divisional/ plants teams in applying for sustainability related awards/ competitions, etc. within the organization and at national/ international level.
  • Ensure compliance with the defined governance framework including upholding the MAS DNA, following, group/company polices procedures, best practices (where the group/company policies and procedures are not defined), relevant laws regulations and undertake every necessary action to comply with the governance framework.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational standards in areas such as MOS, SOPs, compliance standards, health and safety including safe machine process and 5S in all day today activities whilst, assisting in relevant projects.
  • Ensure that the environment, safety and health standards of the organization are adhered to while actively contribute towards promoting a culture of safety and environmental consciousness within and outside the organization.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Degree in Science or other relevant qualification. 
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity (Prior experience in project management would be desirable).
  • Presentation skills.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in English.
