Intern – Quality Assurance

MAS Active – Countourline (pallekale) 

We are looking for a passionate and diligent intern to join our quality team and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. 

Key Responsibilities, 

• Support on inspecting, examine and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal quality management system.
•  Involve in taking initiatives on the quality prevention process by using internal audits.
• Involve in process audits and management audits and support to maintain standards of quality process and garment quality levels.
• Look after the document Standard Operating Procedures and maintain records for reference purposes.
• Support on conduct interim audits and factory final audits to ensure the garment quality is as per the required standards
• Involve and follow-up on actionable items in the Supplier Quality Evaluation (SQE) and Qualified Supplier Expectations (QSE) audits.
• Follow-up on the corrective and preventive action plan and attend to the needful
• Ensure adherence to organizational standards in areas such as MOS, SOPs, compliance standards, health and safety and 5S in all day-to-day activities
• Assist in relevant projects and perform additional duties as requested by management.

Required Qualifications & Experience 

• Being a undergraduate or diploma holder in Textile Engineering, Quality Management or a related field
• Effective communication skills in both written and spoken English/Sinhala
• Problem solving and decision making skills
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
