Executive – Human Resources Development (Silueta – Biyagama)

This role would enable you to manage the Human Resources Development function of the organization and ensure the implementation of Human Resources Practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct effective and timely manpower fulfilment of Interns, Executives, Worker, Staff across the Cluster, plant via unique recruitment strategies, that would attract and select the best suited talent to ensure the required headcount is consistently maintained, in the most cost-effective way for the organization.
  • Ensure below recruitment functions are completed in timely manned to fulfilment of manpower requirements thereby supporting the division in achieving its set objectives.
  • Build and maintain cordial relationships with Universities, Institutes, Professional Bodies and follow up closely with same in order to attract the best talent to fill organizational manpower requirements.
  • Support the promotion process by liaising with plant, Head of Departments (HODs), HR Department and coordinating interviews, to ensure business requirements are met with the best talent in accordance with standard structures & ratios.
  • Ensure timely cadre fulfilment for offshore operations (manufacturing & design), with the best suited talent via secondments, whilst ensuring a smooth transition of the employees, to fulfil overseas manpower requirements and to ensure their repatriation and allocation of their new roles on their return.
  • Work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholder to co-ordinate and organize best programs that aim to bridge current skills gaps and ensure the talent pool is equipped with the right skill set to support the achievement of current and future business requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to the below key functions pertaining to the Learning and Development pillar to support the management in achieving its set objectives.
  • Continuously improve training processes through pre and post evaluations of all trainings and detailed analysis for feedback and management decision making.
  • Ensure timely completion of the goal setting and appraisal process within the stipulated time frame.
  • Train, develop and supervise Executives and staff grade employees on Human Resource related functions such that they have the right skill set, competencies to achieve set objectives.
  • Conduct internal trainings as a when required to enhance awareness of process and protocols pertaining to the giving function. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross functional teams and management to ensure seamless flow of required tasks within the stipulated timeframe. 

Knowledge and Skills:  

  • Degree in Business Management, Human Resources or any other related area.
  • Minimum 2-4 Years of experience in similar or equivalent role.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Take lead in the respective pillar.
  • Sound communication and Negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work with technology.
  • Relationship building and management skills.
