EXECUTIVE – BUSINESS ENTRPRENEUR

Assist in the development of innovative concepts that can be generated from Consumer market research/ analysis, current and future Business requirements and white spaces, whilst demonstrating the ability to work with management and cross functional teams to convert these to viable opportunities/ product solutions thereby enabling the division to win more market share and achieve set objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Senior team leads to execute strategies, milestones and department plans that are in alignment to the overall vision and mission of the division.
  • Be proactive and possess a sustainable mindset by being up to date with global sustainable technologies, and innovations in order to support the business teams to meet customer requirement.
  • Diligently follow through to ensure adherence and timely completion to support the team in securing more market share with new and existing customers and achieving set objectives.
  • Conduct consumer market research, understand business requirements whilst demonstrating the ability to translate and share the need/ issue/ requirement to the rest of the team and collaborate with Technology and Product entrepreneurs to support/ contribute to the achievement of developing a strong Innovation Toolbox/ platform solution.
  • Work closely with the team leads to identify customer requirements and regularly conduct Brand/consumer research to be up to date on market opportunities and business needs, to ensure effective products are developed to meet customer and business objectives.
  • Together with the support and direction provided by Management/ Leads, demonstrate the ability to work independently execute assigned projects by focusing to develop product solutions to support the business/ consumer requirement covering “good, better and best category “within the stipulated timeframes.
  • Play a pivotal role in supporting the team on all administrative task such as: data gathering, monitoring and updating team dash boards, report generation in adherence to set standards/ protocols and following through on projects timelines to ensure timely achievement of set objectives.
  • Assist and ensure accurate BOM updates and concept costings, are completed in a timely manner whilst ensuring internal earning aspirations are met to support the achievement of set objectives.
  • Collaboratively work with leads and cross functional representatives to coordinate the sample development process, participate in development meetings and support the sourcing of fabric and other raw materials based on the customer request, in order to ensure samples / prototypes are completed and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the internal/ external stakeholders to understand the processes and business requirements to build strong relationships and to compile presentations on technology platforms to support the team in identifying better crafted product solutions that support the business win more market and achieve its set objectives.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Degree in business development/ administration/ marketing or equivalent professional qualification.
  • 1-2 years or experience working in a similar capacity.
  • Highly advantageous skills in Product knowledge, Merchandising, Business Acumen.

  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge on brands, positioning and competition.
