Engineer Research & Development
(Based at MAS Intimates – MDS Ratmalana)
Embark on a journey of change with MAS, by joining the MAS Intimates – MDS Ratmalana ! This role would enable you to assist in generating technological resolutions with deep understanding of contributing variables, deliver sound proposals using convincing communication and work collaboratively with both internal and external partners based on current development methods in order to meet organizational objectives in the most beneficial manner taking the triple bottom-line into account.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support in the development of virtual & physical prototypes both internally & with partners to create open innovation briefs that can be converted to realistic investment opportunities.
- Proactively understand technology requirements of new projects & growth platforms and develop innovative approaches in solving technological challenges to generate meaningful resolutions.
- Research & understand adoptable technology and identify potential partners to work with in a collaborative fashion to ensure optimal productivity.
- Consistently communicate with the team on the appropriate solution and value proposition in order to drive objective delivery in a timely & compelling manner.
- Identify required technology platforms by using appropriate tools so as to deliver formidable technological venture proposals.
- Ensure compliance with the defined governance framework including upholding the MAS DNA, following, group/company polices & procedures, best practices (where the group/company policies and procedures are not defined), relevant laws & regulations and undertake every necessary action to comply with the governance framework Group policy will supersede company policy incase of a conflict.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- B.sc in Chemical & Process engineering or Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering or material science & engineering.
- 1-2 years of experience.
