EXECUTIVE – TECHNOLOGY ENTREPRENEUR (MAS KREEDA)

We are looking for a dynamic and energetic individual to join the Innovation team as an Executive – Technology Entrepreneur (Executive Work Level). This role requires you to assist in generating technological solutions with a deep understanding of contributing variables, deliver sound proposals using convincing communication and work collaboratively with both internal and external partners based on current development methods to meet organizational objectives most beneficially, taking the triple bottom line into account.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in the development of virtual & physical prototypes both internally & with partners to create open innovation briefs that can be converted to realistic investment opportunities.
  • Proactively understand technology requirements of new projects & growth platforms and develop innovative approaches in solving technological challenges so as to generate meaningful resolutions.
  • Research & understand adoptable technology and identify potential partners to work with in a collaborative fashion to ensure optimal productivity.
  • Support all internal/partner teams in technical related activities and problem-solving initiatives whilst getting involved in proto /concept development to ensure newness to the customer by offering alternatives to their requirement which supports the business needs and benefit the customer.
  • Good understanding of the open innovation process and product development methodologies being able to convert consumer Jobs to be done, to functional requirements and converge to technology jobs to be done.
  • Research and be up to date with new technology/ecosystem and utilize them effectively in order to maximize functional value of products and process.
  • Proactively ensure measures are taken to protect organizational intellectual property including prepare and update logbooks to ensure patent licenses are obtained and the organization is protected.
  • Ensure required health and safety measures and standards are followed when planning the changes in processes and layouts etc. to enhance the productivity; Ensure potential improvements in health and safety are also considered and implemented while changes are made.
  • Ensure compliance with the defined governance framework including upholding the MAS DNA, following, group/company polices & procedures*, best practices (where the group/company policies and procedures are not defined), relevant laws & regulations and undertake every necessary action to comply with the governance framework.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in in Engineering/Science or related field / equivalent professional qualification 
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in a similar capacity
