ASSISTANT MANAGER – TECHNICAL OPERATIONS (SHADOWLINE,KATUNAYAKE)
To ensure effective and efficient line layout and facilitating garment assembly thereby, meeting customer requirements pertaining to quality and on time delivery
Key Responsibilities
- To follow the sample production plan in order to identify styles scheduled for production including corresponding start dates
- To attend the pre-production meetings in order to fully understand attachments and machinery requirements for production
- To oversee the pilot garment assembly process, ensuring the accuracy of measurements against specifications whilst, liaising with relevant persons on revisions or corrections in the event of variations
- To oversee reports (reject analysis, production and hourly output) and address any non- conformances and inefficiencies
- To engage in the conduction of the pilot garment appraisal meeting, transferring learning’s/ instructions obtained during the pilot garment assembly process
- To perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management
Knowledge & Skills
- Degree in related field
- 3 – 4 years of relevant work experience
