We are looking for an energetic individual as the Head of IT for Hayleys Agri Sector. The selected candidate will be responsible and accountable for aligning IT strategies/solutions with business strategies and for the smooth running of our computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. You will also be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of our company’s computing needs.

The successful candidate should have good interpersonal skills, a proven professional experience and a detailed knowledge of industry’s best practices and processes

Responsibilities

  • Manage information technology and computer systems
  • Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
  • Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
  • Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
  • Audit systems and assess their outcomes
  • Preserve assets, information security and control structures
  • Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness

Candidate Profile 

  • Professional qualification in Computer Science/Information Technology/MIS or equivalent qualification from a recognized institute
  • Minimum 10 years proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, network installation and information security
  • Commitment and desire to achieve personal and company goals
  • High interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Experience in SAP S/4 HANA ERP system will be an advantage
