SYSTEMS ENGINEER

We are looking for a Systems Engineer with expertise in Linux and open-source applications, the Systems Engineer will be responsible for installing and monitoring Linux-based open-source operating systems and applications. The individual will also resolve user issues, address change management requests, and proactively identify potential issues by implementing protective measures. To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience in designing, implementing, and monitoring Linux infrastructure, maintaining Linux-based applications, and specifically, Zimbra Email solutions

Candidates Profile:

Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, engineering, or its equivalent.
RHCSA or RHCE certification.
Minimum of 2+ years of experience working with Linux operating systems.
Relevant experience with Zimbra Email solutions.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments.
Strong knowledge of Linux scripting languages.
Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Zimbra Email, Apache, Nginx, etc.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Manage Zimbra Email solutions in a large customer-based environment.
Install, configure, and maintain servers within a Linux environment.
Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.
Monitor the health of Linux servers through both automated and manual processes.
Maintain software/application repositories and apply updates.
Document procedures, configurations, and programs for reference.
