Job Description
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Conduct and assist research activities as assigned regarding markets, products, and cargoes, and support business development activities, corporate planning, and other business and related activities.
- Support the SBUs of Shipping Services with their bids for businesses, contracts, and agreements.
- Liaise closely with the Group’s support service units, and other SBUs including overseas offices, agents, partners, etc., and build up relationships.
- Prepare and make necessary presentations at meetings, record minutes, and produce and maintain reports.
- Be the custodian of all Branding and Marketing initiatives of SBUs of the Shipping Services in liaison with CCU and CBD.
- Be the coordinator for Group’s HR, OHS & CS, ISD, and be the champion for their initiatives.
- Implement the QMS procedures by maintaining proper documentation and records thereby ensuring compliance with quality standards and initiative as and when required.
- Assist the directors and relevant SBU heads by way of coordinating and arranging meetings, preparing reports/publication material and presentations, and taking down accurate minutes.
- Maintain directors’/SBU Heads’ calendars/diaries by updating appointments and ensuring timely participation.
- Make travel plans, both local and international and necessary arrangements such as visas, hotel bookings, appointments, etc as and when required.
- Attend to business requirements such as organizing mobile and landline connections, procurement of stationary and printing material, and office maintenance matters.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION
- A suitable Bachelor’s degree equivalent from a reputed University or an Institute.
- A minimum of 1 – 2 years’ work experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office applications.
- Good interpersonal & communication skills.
