Manager – IT
Responsibilities
- Manage information technology and computer systems
- Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
- Manage IT staff by training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
- Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
- Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
- Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
- Audit systems, assess their outcomes and fix gaps.
- Assist Internal/External IT Audits
- Align sector IT Strategies with Business Strategies and Group Information Technology Strategies
- Preserve assets, information security and control structures
- Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
Requirements and skills
- Professional qualification in Computer Science/Information Technology/MIS or equivalent qualification from a recognized institute
- Minimum 8 years proven working experience
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, network installation and information security
- Commitment and desire to achieve personal and company goals.
- High interpersonal and analytical skills
- Experience in SAP S/4 HANA ERP system will be an advantage
- Preference will be given to those who are from Ekala, Katana, Negombo or around proximity
