Job Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the Company’s long-term ESG strategy aligned to the Hayleys Group’s overall ESG aspirations
• Contribute towards the formulation of relevant policies and procedures to advance the Company’s ESG goals and aspirations
• Serve as the sustainability liaison with internal departments, Hayleys Group ESG Division and external stakeholders
• Collaborate across departments to identify opportunities for improvement across the Company’s environmental, social and governance performance
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of non-financial performance indicators through the Hayleys Sustainability Information System
• Support the Company’s external sustainable reporting through ensuring compliance to sustainability reporting frameworks such as GRI, TCFD, SASB and the new IFRS sustainability disclosures 
• Contribute towards nurturing a sustainability-conscious culture within the organization through ongoing engagement initiatives 

Person’s Profile 

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University (Degree should be in areas relevant to corporate sustainability such as environment science, energy management, sustainability management or in any of the engineering disciplines)
• MBA/MSc from a recognized University would be an added advantage 
• Good command in English with special emphasis on writing skills
• Minimum of five years’ experience preferably in a Manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of sustainability reporting standards and reporting will be an added advantage
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and a strong results orientation
• Ability to work well in both team-oriented and self-directed environments
• Sound knowledge of the MS Office suite
