JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Effectively engage with bagging team in Regular maintenance, repair breakdown that occurs at port operation and modification (close monitoring and supervision).
- Check and maintenance of all electrical systems and equipment, pneumatic systems and equipment, control systems, load cells, weighting controllers and PLC.
- Handle ISO documents and Stock control.
- Follow safety instructions, which are introduced by company OHS and Conduct / Participate in safety training.
- Follow safety instructions for company machine and equipment (including transport between yard and port and vice versa).
- Attend to BP yard/premises maintenance as one team.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION
- 6 passes at GCE O/L with “A” pass for Maths.
- A minimum of 3 passes at the GCE A/L examination.
- Complete Ceylon German Technical Training Institute full time Power Electrical course or similar course from similar institution.
- Minimum 1 – 2 years’ experience in similar role.
- Knowledge of pneumatic will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Sewing machine will be an advantage.
