JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate with agents on resolving issues and monitor agent’s performance referring to related schedules, cargo declarations and information form vessels; based on which, provide accurate information for management decisions.
- Monitor vessel’s actual performance against declared performance in CP terms using reports form agents and authorities.
- Liaise with relevant parties and coordinate on vessel related special requirements as per the guidelines and regulations.
- Provide required reports to monthly meetings and finance department accurately and timely
- Accurate invoices to be sent for customers in a timely manner.
- Provide customers with accurate information. Analyze market trends and propose additional value-added services for customers.
- In non-line shipping activities, cross check post fixture activities with SOF to ensure adherence.
- Coordinate with local authorities / approvals such as inward and outward clearance documentation for vessels calls are carried out for vessel to enter and depart (uninterrupted).
- Container vessels – ensure uninterpreted cargo discharging / loading arrangements are for smooth operation while at berth by coordinate closely with MPL and customs.
- Coordinate with principals / agents to ensure smooth vessel operation to meet deadlines
- Coordinate with MPL to release the containers out of port, and coordinate with customers for return of the containers on timely manner after usage.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION
- Three passes at the GCE A/Levels
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma or Equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum one-year experience in the related field
- Good command of English both written and verbal.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
