HEAD OF SALES & MARKETING (PROJECT LOGISTICS)

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends
  • Develop and execute marketing/promotional and branding plan 
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives
  • Oversee the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a consistent and effective approach
  • Set and monitor sales targets for individual team members and the overall sales team
  • Act as a key point of contact for major client accounts, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with customers
  • Lead negotiations for major contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms for the company
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalize contractual agreements
  • Develop and maintain sales reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics
  • Provide strong leadership to the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement

Candidate Profile

  • Professional Qualification in Sales or Marketing (CIM/SLIM or equivalent) 
  • Masters/Degree in Sales & Marketing or Business Management 
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience as a sales professional in a transportation or project logistics company with a 3 years’ experience at a managerial level 
  • Should be innovative, dynamic, and able to work on tight deadlines around the clock where your creativity will be challenged 
  • Should possess strong interpersonal skills and have an analytical mindset
