Executive – Compliance

Job Summary: Responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring the compliance audit plan and 

coordination of compliance activities and reporting results by conforming to the financial policies and 

procedure of the company.

The main job functions of this position will include,

  • Conducting reviews of organizational practices and operations in order to assess adherence to policies and regulations
  • Planning, Supervising and conducting surprise verification of Cash handling, Stocks Handling & debtors 
  • at Head office and the remote locations 
  • Preparing compliance audit reports by compiling and analyzing internal & external information
  • Observing and monitoring monthly Work in Progress stock verification and reporting process
  • Ensuring adherence to control mechanism in the areas of purchase, production, sales, receipts, payments              and general ledger functions
  • Contributing to the overall business by ensuring up to date and value adding financial management            information and performing assigned revenue assurance audits. 
  • Providing guidance and recommendations on corrective actions or risk mitigation strategies and                        ensuring proper implementation. 
  • Coordination and monitoring of annual reports and other awards applications of the company.

We seek a dedicated, result oriented young individual with the highest level of leadership, commitment, communication skills and sound personal attributes for the aforementioned position. Candidate should possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field from recognized institute.
  • Professional part qualification in CA Sri Lanka or CIMA (UK).
  • 2-3 Years’ experience in similar capacity or post qualifying experience in the relevant field including                            experience in a manufacturing organization or lead auditor in a reputed Audit Firm 
  • Exposure to computerized accounting application packages and ERP systems.
  • Team player with analytical mindset and Excellent Negotiation skills. 
  • Have good verbal and written Sinhala & English language proficiency with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels within the Company.
