Haycarb PLC is among the world’s largest manufacturers of coconut shell-based activated carbon, with manufacturing plants in Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Indonesia. The group has distribution companies established in the USA, Australia, and Europe.
This position is based at our head office in Colombo. The successful candidate will report to the Deputy Financial Controller in the Finance department.
The company is looking for a dynamic individual who will partner with the business to support and ensure financial governance, and statutory and tax compliance. Further, will provide proactive & timely management information for business-critical decision making.
Position Vacant: Assistant Manager – Finance
Candidate Profile:
- A degree from a recognized university in Finance Management.
- Full or Part Qualified in CA, CIMA (UK) / ACCA
- Minimum of 4 years post-qualifying experience in the same capacity in a leading company
- Exposure to the manufacturing environment and SAP ERP system would be an added advantage.
Job Role:
- Ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with Sri Lanka Financial Reporting standards and Sri Lanka Accounting Standards.
- Spearheaded the management of statutory audits, internal audits, and management assignments to improve the quality of information and financial governance.
- Implement and manage internal controls.
