Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing system certifications (ISO, FSC, SA etc.) and obtaining new certification if required
  • Driving main annual Quality KPI’s in the Business and preparing QA budgets accordingly
  • Conducting monthly review meetings, internal audits and take required corrective actions to prevent possible non-conformities 
  • Ensuring the quality inspections are being carried out effectively at each stage of the production process
  • Preparing ‘weekly shipment release reports’ with the factory team 
  • Conducting customer complaint analysis and taking appropriate preventive measures to control the repetition 
  • Assuring timber quality at the incoming point such as dimensions, wood borer attacks, black fungi etc
  • Effective supplier visits, liaising with the procurement team to develop the fiber and timber suppliers to obtain the required quality levels at the incoming point
  • Conducting Pest control activities/ Fumigation for the Insect & pest controlling
  • Coordinating with production teams and providing speedy and accurate response to all quality related issues
  • Developing Quality Assurance plans by conducting hazard analyzing & identifying critical control points and preventive measures

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or equivalent qualification such as NDT from a reputed University/Institute 
  • Proven work experience of 4 years in a similar capacity
  • Ability to conduct training on quality and productivity for the target groups
  • Great attention to detail and a result driven approach and Excellent numeric skills of data analysis/statistical analysis methods
  • Excellent communication & written skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Preference will be given who are from Ekala or around proximity
