About the job Manager – Finance
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring recording of financial transactions in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and other applicable regulations to ensure compliance.
- Oversee and manage to invoice, and collection process.
- Treasury management.
- Liaise with local tax consultants and ensure compliance in taxation (VAT, WHT etc) within the time frame.
- Handling internal and external audits.
- Work closely with Global Finance and SCM teams and ensure process and statutory compliance.
- Assist Global SCM team, to identify potential vendors for procurement.
- Handle Finance and management reporting as required by Global Finance.
QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE
- A qualified CPA.
- A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
- 5+ years of experience in handling Financial Accounting and reporting, Procurement services, risk management, and local tax regulations.
- A thorough knowledge of statutory payments, and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in MS office.
- Strong business acumen skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a capacity to present, discuss and explain issues coherently and logically both in writing and verbally.
- Good team player, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
