About the job General Manager – Marketing
Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to promote Axiata Digital Labs’ products and services to target customers.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and ongoing professional development.
- Brand Development: Manage and enhance the company’s brand and positioning in the market, ensuring a strong and consistent brand image.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute marketing campaigns to generate leads, drive customer acquisition, and increase brand awareness.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to inform marketing strategies.
- Public Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets and manage public relations efforts to gain media coverage.
- Event Management: Plan and execute marketing events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our solutions and engage with customers.
- Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance metrics for marketing campaigns, including lead generation, customer acquisition, and brand awareness.
- Ownership of Marketing Budget: Optimize marketing budget and resources.
QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE
- Master’s Degree in business administration, marketing and communications, or related discipline
- 10+ Years of work experience in Marketing with a proven record of success leading a Marketing team.
- Prior experience working for MNCs in a similar role
- Excellent leadership and organizing skills
- Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google analytics, WebTrends etc.) and Google Adwords
- Analytical and creative thinking
- Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices
- Customer-oriented approach and aptitude
- Professional Chartered Marketing qualification would be an advantage
- Experience in dealing with overseas opportunities would be an advantage.
