You should ideally;
- Possess 6 years of experience working in Treasury or a related role
- possess a degree or full professional qualification acceptable to the Bank. Part or full qualification in Chartered Accountancy, CIMA or CFA would be an added advantage.
- possess the ACI Dealing Certificate / Certificate in Treasury & Foreign Exchange Operations conducted by CBSL or should be willing to sit for the exams upon selection to the position
- experience in a Treasury related area / Finance / Risk Management would be a definite advantage
- possess good communication skills (written and verbal)
- possess good negotiation skills
You will be responsible for;
- maintaining FIS customer details & communicating regularly to find business & cross selling opportunities.
- coordinating with branches on regularizing documentations on FIS products
- carrying out market research regularly on REPO rates, FD rates and maintaining all monetary related market data & presenting to the management.
- providing customer FX & REPO rates and booking transactions in the system
- disseminating market information through DFCC Market Flash email and SMS
- managing LKR Cash Flows and meeting SRR requirements
- funding Nostro accounts in a timely manner to ensure payments go through without any defaults
- covering foreign currency positions, managing the Bank NOP and ensure limits are adhered to
- assisting in monitoring and managing the Bank liquidity ratios including SLAR & LCR
- assisting in achieving Repo NII targets
- CBSL and management reporting
