Site Engineer

Job Responsibilities

  • Overlook the total sites day to day progress and review with relevant parties.
  • Assist in establishing the client’s requirements clearly and accurately by proper inquiries through the marketing department in order to achieve a customer focused outcome and to minimize presumptions.
  • Liaise with parties such as Department Managers, Project managers, Architects, Subcontractors and Suppliers to certify the progress to be on track in order to assist timely delivery of the product to the client. Managing resources to optimize the consumption and to achieve technical /timeline goals.
  • Assist and resolve any technical queries arising at site.
  • Perform additional duties commensurate with the current   role, as and when requested by management.

Candidate Profile

  • Should have 2 – 3 years’ experience in the industry which is preferably Construction. (Experience in Aluminium industry will be an added advantage.)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical).
  • Technical Knowledge on Engineering products.
  • 3 passes for A/L’s.
  • Local or London O/L 8 passes with ‘C’ for Mathematics and English
  • Strong negotiation and good communication skills in English and Sinhala
  • Must have a valid riding/driving license.
  • Ability to work based at any site location and willingness to travel.
  • Willingness to work extra hours.
