Assistant manager – SALES & OPERATIONS PLANNING
Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), manufacturer of Elephant House Beverages and Ice Creams is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CCS is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.
The company is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Assistant Manager – Sales Operations Planning (Beverage sector). The position exists to support smooth functioning of distribution network by way of ensuring that activities such as target setting , route planning , accuracy of stocks & related reporting.
The selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Setting distributor-wise Targets based on past data by monitoring distributor-wise KPIs.
- Spearheading the third-party consultants’-based route planning project to ensure effective implementation by coordinating with sales team & providing timely updates to CCS management.
- Guiding the team to ensure that distributor stock is in control by ensuring that SOPs are followed & escalate issues with recommendations.
- Ensuring Depot set up is done smoothly by coordinating with all the stakeholders.
- Ensuring that System used by distributor is up to date with required data for a smooth operation.
Required qualifications and skills:
- Degree in Business Management / Finance or equivalent
- Fully qualified in CIMA or equivalent professional qualification would be an added advantage.
- More than 5 years’ experience related to above scope (related to FMCG industry would be an added advantage)
- Sound knowledge in MS office packages & experience in distribution systems
- Understating of Primary & secondary sales operations with knowledge on market behaviors and commercial aspect of the business
- Attention to detail with excellent analytical skills & business acumen.
- Ability to work with cross functional teams.
