Key purpose of the Job
As Senior Fabric Technologist (Development), you will be reporting to the Assistant Manager – Fabric Technology. You will be responsible for end-to-end wash development, testing and assurance process, Laundry evaluations, technical risk assessments, colour management, customer approvals, trouble shooting wash & dye related issues for the assigned customer account/s while ensuring timely achievement of Supply Chain initiatives related to Fabric Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execution of fabric technology processes for RM development (for e.g., mill evaluations, technical risk assessments, colour management, etc.,)
- Execution of wash technical processes for wash development ( for e.g Laundry evaluations, technical risk assessments, colour management, etc)
- Implementation of assigned functional improvement projects, including supply, profitability, and SRM
- Working with internal and external stakeholders for achievement of the functional objectives
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Diploma or Certification in Textile/ Clothing/ Fabric technology or any other relevant stream
Experience
0 to 3+ years of relevant experience in the Fabric Technology function, with strong technical knowledge of raw materials and commercial acumen
Better understanding about garment form wet processing and experience of wash development & bulk execution
