Key purpose of the Job

The Senior Executive – Automation & Industrial Engineering carries out Design/Develop automation solutions, simulates  prototype modules and implementations to Bulk manufacturing to improve SMV, cost and throughput time. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Working closely with IE and Technical team  and suggesting the simplified automated construction methods to business based on the samples/sketch received.
2. Designing, programming, simulating and testing automated machinery and processes in order to complete exact tasks
3. Ensuring all automations agreed to are completed on time for sampling or bulk.
4. Working closely with outside suppliers and aligning them to the business requirements.
5. Liaising  with  outside workshops and completing tasks on agreed T & A.
6. Preparing the monthly project plan along with the estimated project cost and obtaining the approval from IE & Finance Department. Preparing the month -end presentation to the management 
7. Following up the developed automations until implemented to the bulk. Ensuring flawless execution from development to handover.
8. Reviewing the next season’s development products and applying possible automation solutions.
9. Reviewing bulk production common operations and implementing possible automation solutions to improve the throughput time.

Education

B. Tech /B.Sc. or HND in Mechatronics Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electronic Engineering (Mechatronics Engineering is preferred)

Experience

3 years + Experience in the apparel industry as an Automation Engineer

Hands-on experience on PLC & Microcontroller Programming/IoT based development /Electronic & Electrical Control panel designing and wiring/sewing machine programing and basic sewing machine mechanical knowledge

Good knowledge in 3D Mechanical designing (Solid works Designing)
