Key purpose of the Job

The Management Accountant is responsible for providing accurate and timely management information to the concerned SBU stakeholders to support decision making. This includes preparation of Management reports, monthly closing/reporting, budget preparation, M3 key user requirements, coordination with the Accenture Finance team for MIS/reporting and supporting special SBU projects as required to support the Management for achievement of the SBU profitability objectives. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for co-ordination of the SBU Budgeting process as per specified guidelines and timeliness.
2. Prepare monthly / quarterly projections for P&L for senior management to aid decision making. 
3. Facilitate the monthly P&L, Sales & Capacity review meetings.
4. Act as SBU M3 Key user and ensure governance of the inventory reporting process. 
5. Co-ordinate with the internal stakeholders and Accenture team for timely MIS, reporting and KPI management. 

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/ Financial/ Business Management or Charted Institute Of Management Accountants (CIMA)

Experience

3 to 4 years of relevant experience with a strong knowledge of management accounting, reporting and budgeting concepts Good understanding of functional business processes (front end / operations)
