Key purpose of the Job
Intern is responsible for assisting all activities of pre-production planning and scheduling for the assigned business unit by coordinating with various stakeholders. The role-holder is responsible for following up and ensuring availability of raw materials on time for production at Trial, Pilot and Bulk stages.
Additionally, the individual tracks the RM status and help to prepare and circulate reports to the relevant stakeholders. Implementing ad-hoc projects to improve raw material planning and tracking is integral to the role.
Furthermore, the job holder is responsible for executing the vested duties and responsibilities in relation to the Health & Safety guidelines, instructions and protocols of the Organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting for planning and scheduling the pre-production activities to ensure optimized utilization of capacity and on time customer delivery.
- Assisting for deployment of pre-production plan, monitoring execution and issue resolution
- Assisting for risk analysis in the pre-production, trial and PPZ stages and prepare and circulate reports of the same.
Education
A graduate or undergraduate following a degree of Physical Science /Statistics /Mathematics/Clothing Technology or any other relevant field
Experience
CIMA Qualification will be an added advantage
Good team player with excellent communication skills.
Sound MS Excel knowledge
