Key purpose of the Job
The role holder will support the Group Environmental Engineering pillar heads and other Engineering functional stakeholders by providing performance analytics to support business decision-making and assisting in the implementation of group Environmental Sustainability functional requirements, such as planning and executing Sustainability projects, special projects, and R&D. Furthermore, the job holder is responsible for executing the vested duties and responsibilities in relation to the Environmental, Health, and Safety guidelines, instructions, and protocols of the Organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing Environmental Sustainability initiatives across the Group
2. Implementing Sustainability projects to optimize resource utilization in the Group, including energy and water
3. Carrying out research and development projects for apparel manufacturing and sustainability improvements
4. Assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of apparel facility machines and equipment, such as HVAC, generators, boilers, compressors, etc.
Education
Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering
Experience
Good communication skills, analytical skills, working knowledge of IT systems/Microsoft packages
