Key purpose of the Job
The Fit Technologist is responsible for coordinating and providing technical support in fitting for the assigned products/styles. Ensure on-time garment development and approval from DI to red tag (fit approval) to secure OTD. This includes an understanding of customer requirements, communication with the customer, centric uploads, pad and wire developments, and fit approval to meet the T&A.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Responsible for understanding of customer requirements and coordinating for pre-sample development requirements, including risk assessment, consumption costing and validation processes.
2. Coordinate with the internal and external stake holders for achievement of the sample development OTD and customer satisfaction objectives.
3. Collaborate with the concerned internal teams for effective Production Handover of developed styles.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Diploma in Clothing Technology
Experience
1 to 3+ years of experience in Product Development in a customer-based environment, focusing on Technical/Fit/Garment Construction and Production Feasibility.
Expertise in operating 3D software.
Knowledge of creating 3D designs using sketches and tech packages and translating 2D designs into actual garments.
