Key purpose of the Job
The role holder supports the Category Lead – Trims (Direct / Indirect) for achievement of the Category Management objectives.
This includes support for category KPIs achievement (for example, category budgeting, sourcing savings, ensuring supply), coordination of supplier initiatives, facilitation of category reviews, process improvements, data analytics, MIS & reporting for the category, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Implement assigned Category initiatives for KPI achievement, including margin improvement, OTIF, quality and supplier initiatives
2. Implement assigned margin improvement projects for the category (as applicable) including monitoring / analysis of category procurement spends & sourcing savings
3. Responsible for data analytics, documentation and reporting for the Category, including facilitation of functional projects such as process improvements, profitability, SPM
4. Work with the SBU functional stakeholders and cross functional teams for achievement of the assigned Category objectives
5. Join the Category Lead in local and overseas mill visits of both suppliers and Brandix locations
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Textile Technology or Supplies & Materials Management.
Qualified in CIMA/ACCA
Experience
1 to 3+ years of relevant experience in the Supply chain function
Proficiency in MS Office, Analytical tools will be added advantage
