Key purpose of the Job
Executive – Finance is responsible for monitoring raw material inventory and supporting the business with RM reporting and analysis pertaining to consumption, excess inventory etc. Advising the stakeholders on inventory provisions /schedules for the concerned SBU also comes under this job role.
The role holder will be required to coordinate with the SBU Supply Chain team for recovery actions and inventory governance/improvement projects for achievement of the Inventory KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the preparation of reports, analysis to facilitate monthly Inventory review meetings
2. Collaborating with cross functional stakeholders for value creation projects (e.g., SC, Inventory related)
3. Responsible for overseeing the on-time and accurate payment to suppliers, sub-contracted operations etc.
4. Ensuring governance and adherence to internal controls for inventory in the SBU in accordance with the stipulated guidelines
Education
Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) qualification or a bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Financial/Business Management.
Experience
1 to 2+ years of relevant experience with good knowledge of financial accounting and inventory concepts
