Key purpose of the Job
As Assistant Manager – Merchandising, you will be reporting to the Manager – Merchandising. You will be responsible for driving achievement of the order management objectives for the assigned categories in the SBU. This includes achievement of the Bulk KPIs for the categories, including OTD, Quality, Topline and Profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure 100% OTD and budget achievement
- Manage T&As 100% and provide front-line customer coordination in support of Departmental goals, objectives and day-to-day operations, whilst ensuring compliance
- Maintain excellent customer relationships, internal coordination and liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure goal achievement
- Drive the daily bulk and procurement status by managing the T&A
- Drive the delivery process by liaising with the Operations team and providing solutions
Education
Possess an Academic/Professional qualification in Marketing.
A qualification in Textile/Fabric Technology will be advantageous.
Experience
A minimum of 4 years experience in Merchandising within the industry.
Ability to communicate effectively with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
Possess applicable knowledge on fabric, trims and garments with various finishes
Effective time management, skill prioritization capabilities and ability to perform under pressure.
Be proactive, assertive and forward-thinking and take ownership in delivering operational excellence
Ability to take ownership in delivering operational excellence and be a performance-oriented team player
