Functional Consultant

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The role of the Functional Consultant is to be a primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, supporting the full software implementation life cycle including installation, business process analysis/workflow design, configuration, training, user testing, and overall project management. The individual is expected to work alongside other team members to proactively support the management of their consulting practices.

The Functional Consultant must be detail-oriented, anticipatory, organized and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing confidential information. They should also have a good command of Accounting, Real Estate and Investment Management.

Responsibilities:

The Functional Consultant provides an elevated level of client support according to the needs of the specific
clients assigned. This role includes, but is not limited to the following primary duties:

Become a solution expert in real estate specific software that Assetsoft supports, providing remote and onsite product consulting and training as part of implementation (software supported include, but not limited to Yardi, MRI, Procore, Concur, Microsoft Dynamics, CoStar).
Develop and manage strong client relationships.
Provide maximum value, consuming all hours positioned within the Statement of Work
Manages the ERP’s foundational elements (ex. Users, Permissions, Security, Access, etc.).
Helps with providing training for all ERP users throughout the company (sites and corporate), including new hires and intermediate competency training.
Promptly and productively addresses all Help Desk tickets, including handling directly within the implementation/ production team, redirecting users to relevant training materials or appropriate personnel.
Collaborates with Asset Management and Marketing team to support construction updates, customization requests, residential correspondence, security concerns, and internal processes.
Interfaces with end users and appropriately escalate tickets to vendor support team.
Keep abreast of technical developments that are of operational importance to the company.
Draft Project Plans, direct weekly project meetings, own status reports and issues resolution

Requirements

Education:

A bachelor’s degree in technology or business or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications:

3+ years’ experience with enterprise class software implementation and delivery.
Candidates with Yardi Software experience, especially proficientinmoduleslike Residential, Commercial, Banking, Investment Banking, Multi-Family property management experience with an emphasizes on accounting functions, Yardisupport, Rent Café, Vendor Café, Pay Scan, P2P etc. will be given preference.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group: executives, managers, subject matter experts, and software developers.
Experience supporting 3rd party vendor applications and interfaces.
Experience designing and drafting project management deliverables.
Demonstrated ability to drive client projects to timely completion.
Identify and lead internal efforts at improving Post-Script effectiveness and efficiency.
Multi-task and function efficiently with very aggressive schedules/timelines.
Apply technical and functional leading practices as applicable to each project.
Proven background in technology consulting and medium to large scale technical roll outs.
Knowledge of accounting and business process in real estate and investment management.
Completed training delivery as part of consulting track.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL would be an asset.
Be a self-motivated team player ready to embrace a fast paced, high growth environment.
PMP Certification and/or equivalent combination of related coursework and experience.
Short notice period candidates preferred (1 month or less).
Open to work in all shifts like IST / AUS / EST / BST
