Job Responsibilities
- Defining, planning, implementing, maintaining, and upgrading security measures, policies, and controls of the business in collaboration with Center IT, cross-functional teams and under the guidance of security experts.
- Effectively oversee, monitor, and respond to security alerts within critical systems and infrastructure for potential security threats. Collaborate with the SOC (Security Operations Center) and other team members to proactively mitigate risks.
- Analyze, implement, and assess end-user devices and workloads while delivering user training to enhance awareness regarding security threats, including malware, phishing, ransomware, and other potential risks.
- Conducting analysis of security breaches to pinpoint their root causes and subsequently updating incident response protocols and disaster recovery plans.
- In charge of overseeing the upkeep and administration of security monitoring applications and infrastructure. Additionally, it is responsible for maintaining the security score of each system in accordance with SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
Person Specifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computing Network Engineering, Cyber Security and or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Experience in Zero Trust, CIS or ISO 27001 frameworks or environments would be an added advantage.
- Industry qualifications in information security, cyber security or compliance
- Communication, presentation and analytical skills.
