EXECUTIVE – TRANSPORT OPERATION
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Co-ordinate on a day to day basis with Transport Team for vehicle availability and demand fulfilment.
- Pre-Trip & Post-trip inspection for all the vehicles trips and take corrective actions for any deviations before dispatching the vehicle.
- Ensure goods delivery on time to the end location as per the plan, daily monitoring and initiate action for any deviation.
- Ensure customer satisfaction is enhanced through better transport planning and demand fulfilment.
- Maintain all documentation in an orderly manner.
- Update reports as per given requirements for management decision making.
- Ensure full compliance with SOPs in order to maintain service levels.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION
- 3 passes at the GCE A/L examination & 6 Credit passes at the GCE O/L examination including Mathematics and English
- A minimum of 01-year experience in a Transport Management environment
- A Diploma in Supply Chain Management OR Bachelor’s Degree (Preferable in Logistics/Supply Chain Management) would be an added advantage
- Concept Knowledge in ERP & Transport Management Systems
- Effective communication in both English and Sinhala and excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills with sound computer literacy
